Chicken wings are one of my favorite appetizers and they are easily cooked in the air fryer. These are a game day must have. This will change up the party table and they will not last. Give these wings a try and let me know what you think in the comment section.
Spicy Ranch Chicken wings
14 wing drumettes/flats
1 cup All Purpose flour
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
In a large mixing bowl, add all of your dry ingredients and mix well.
In another bowl, beat 2 eggs
Take your wings and coat with seasoned flour, then coat with the egg and back into the seasoned flour. Be sure to shake off any excess.
Place in the freezer for 30 minutes, this allows the batter to stiffen up and crisps up nicely.
In the air fryer, if you have a preheat option do so along with spraying the grates with oil.
Set the temp and time to 380 degrees for 24 minutes.
Set the wings to cook, flip every 8 minutes to prevent the batter to get stuck to the grate of the air fryer.
At the 16 minute mark, spray the white floury spots with a little cooking oil.
After the 24 minutes, check with an instant read thermometer to ensure it is fully cooked above 175 degrees.
Serve and Enjoy!
