Today we are making a beautiful Shrimp Scampi that has a lot of flavor. You will love this recipe, this is a great dish for date night or Mother's Day. Surprise that special someone with this beautiful and delicious dish.
Shrimp Scampi Recipe
½ lb of raw shrimp (peeled and de-vined)
3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
½ Cup of White Wine
Juice helf of Small Lemon
1 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
¼ tsp of chili flakes
1 Tbsp of Fresh Chopped Parsley
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and add 3 cloves of minced garlic in a cold pan. Turn on the heat and bring to temp over medium heat. When the garlic gets nice and golden brown, add your wine. Let simmer until the wine is reduced to about half. Now add your lemon juice, chili flakes, salt and pepper and stir. Add your shrimp, cook about 2 -2 ½ mins on first side and 1 ½ - 2 mins second side while adding 1 tbsp of butter to the mix. Also add 1 tbsp of fresh chopped parsley and mix both the butter and parsley into the sauce while cooking the shrimp. Once the shrimp are done, remove the shrimp from the pan and turn off the heat and toss in your pasta. Give your pasta a nice coating of that sauce. Plate with your pasta on the plate, topping with your shrimp. Garnish with fresh chopped Parsley.
