This salmon recipe is very delicious with all the flavors from the lemon, garlic and butter. Its creamy sauce over the perfectly cooked salmon, give a wonderful combination. This is really easy to do and salmon has a lot of health benefits.
2 salmon fillets
4 tbsp unsalted butter 1 lemon 1 tbsp minced garlic 3 tbsp heavy cream salt and pepper
Extra virgin Olive oil
Drizzle a little evoo on the meat side of the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
In an oiled skillet over medium high heat, place the salmon skin side down. You want a good sear on the salmon skin. Cook the skin side for about 4-5 minutes and flip to meat side.
The meat side will cook a bit faster, check at about 4 minutes and that the internal temperature is 145 degrees.
Remove from heat and let rest.
In separate pan over low heat, melt your butter.
Once the butter is melted, squeeze in the lemon juice and add the minced garlic.
Let this cook for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Add in the heavy cream and stir for a couple of minutes until the sauce becomes a consistent color. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the salmon with some of the sauce drizzled over, along with some veggies.
