Rib Eye Steaks with Sauteed Mushrooms

There is nothing better than having a wonderful steak for dinner. Cooking a steak on cast iron or a griddle is one of my favorite ways to make a steak. It gives a great sear and holds in all of the juices. In the video, I will show you how to cook a steak to your preference of how you like it done from Rare to Well Done.

1 tbsp Course Black Pepper

1 tbsp Course Kosher Salt

1/2 tbsp granulated garlic

1/2 tbsp onion powder

Rub with Worcestershire sauce for a binder

Cook the steaks for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 mins on each side depending how you want the rareness of the steak to be. You can use the hand method as I shown in the video or by temperature.

Rare 120 - 125 F

Medium Rare 130 to 140 F

Medium 140 - 145 F

Medium Well 145 - 155

Well Done 160 and up

Let rest for 5 - 10 minutes.

Also to go great with steaks is some sauteed mushrooms. Add 3-4 tbsps of butter down on your pan or griddle and cook up some mushrooms and season with your steak seasoning. This adds extra flavor and go well together.

Serve and enjoy!
