Pumpkin pie is a classic Thanksgiving dessert and it is always a pleasure of watching your family enjoy a slice. No need to buy a pie, this recipe is so simple to do and you can have it done with a breeze. All you need to do is mix everything well and bake in the oven. Seriously, it’s not that hard and you will thank yourself for such a great finished product. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle some cinnamon right on top.
Pumpkin Pie Recipe
15 ounce can pure pumpkin puree 3/4 cup brown sugar 3 eggs beaten 1 1/4 cup half and half 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp all spice 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 sheet pie crust
Butter for pie pan
Use butter to grease your pie pan and place your pie crust in the pan. Decorate your pie crust to your liking and place back in fridge. You want to always keep your pie crust cold.
In a large mixing bowl, add all of your ingredients and mix well.
Pour in your filling into your pie crust and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Check with a toothpick, if it stays clean your pie is done.
Let cool on rack to room temperature then place in fridge.
