Pork stir fry is such an easy dish, but it is delicious. This is a fast and easy meal to do and you can have it done in 30 - 45 mins. It will leave your family satisfied with the wonderful flavors it has. I love making extra when I do a stir fry, so I can have left overs for the next day.
Pork Stir Fry with Teriyaki sauce
2lbs pork sliced thin 1 small broccoli florets snipped and stem chopped 1 tbsp minced garlic 8 oz Mushrooms sliced 1 half onion sliced 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp corn starch mixed with 1/4 cup of water couple splashes of Toasted sesame seed oil
Over high heat, you want to add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil/vegetable oil. Once the wok is heated up, add your pork. Season with salt (lightly) and black pepper. The pork will cook fast, so now add your minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar and toasted sesame seed oil.
Incorporate the flavors into your pork and mix well. Now add the brown sugar into the juice of the dish. Once your pork is cooked on all sides after 4 -5 minutes, add your mushrooms, onions and broccoli. You will cook for another 2 – 4 minutes until your broccoli are slightly stir fried. You want them a bit soft but still crispy.
Mix the corn starch in ¼ cup of water and add the slurry into our stir fry and mix well. Turn off the heat and the sauce will start to thicken up. If you want a little thicker sauce, add another tablespoon of corn starch.
Serve over some rice or rice noodles and garnish with sesame seeds.
