Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs - Air Fryer recipe

This recipe is so easy to make and makes up a wonderful dinner. Pair this up with some garlic bread and roasted veggies or side salad. The chicken thighs are crispy and juicy. You get the zesty from the lemon pepper, savory from the garlic powder and a little kick from the cayenne. Easy recipes like this is what I look for on a busy weekday for dinner. You can have dinner done in just under an hour.

Ingredients:

6 Chicken Thighs

2 tbsp Lemon Pepper seasoning

2 tsp Garlic powder

¼ to ½ tsp Cayenne pepper

Preparation:

Mix in a bowl, the lemon pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Trim your chicken thighs of any excess skin or fat. Season the bottom of the chicken thighs. Apply a little bit of cooking oil to the skin of the chicken and season.

Cooking:

The cook time on this recipe can be used on most air fryers. Some actually may cook this recipe a bit faster. Get to know your air fryer, larger ones like mine, the time and temp will be about right.

Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit/ 193 celcius, set the timer for 36 minutes.

When ready, add your chicken in and begin cooking.

When I use my air fryers, I cook by temperature. Allow the chicken thighs to cook to at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit/ 73 Celsius internal temperature.

Chicken thighs are a little forgiving, so I like to cook them to around 180. You get a crispier skin and the meat is still juicy.

Pair this recipe with some roasted veggies, a side salad and enjoy!
