Lemon Garlic Chicken with Fettuccine is a wonderful dinner idea. It is easy to make and has a delicious flavor. It has a nice creamy flavor and the lemon and garlic make the flavors pop. You can put it over some rice or pasta, but I prefer pasta to soak up all that wonderful sauce.
Lemon Garlic Chicken
3 Chicken breast cubed
8 oz baby portobello mushrooms sliced
½ onion chopped
¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
4 tbsp unsalted butter
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tbsp all-purpose flour mixed with water to thicken
Add 2 tbsps of olive oil over a medium heated pan and add your butter and slowly melt. Once the butter is melted add your chicken and season with salt and pepper.
Add the garlic and lemon juice and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes. Slowly cook the chicken to allow more juices and not to overcook.
Once all sides of the chicken is cooked, add your mushrooms, onions and parsley. Give it a good mix and cover for 4-5 mins.
Remove lid and add the heavy cream and then flour mixed with water to help thicken up the sauce.
Turn heat off and allow the sauce to thicken.
Serve over some pasta and enjoy!
