Garlic Butter Shrimp

This garlic butter shrimp recipe was so easy, fast and delicious. It can make a party of four in no time. It had great flavor and was super yummy. If you like seafood, its a good recipe to add to your collection. That Sweet Smokie Joe's seasoning was fantastic and I will be getting more in the future. But no matter what, this dish pleased friends and family, that was the most important part. I hope you enjoy it.


2 lbs Shrimp

1/2 chopped shallot or 1/4 onion chopped

2 garlic cloves

2 tbsps Sweet Smokie Joe's Garlic Butter Seasoning or a creole or Cajun seasoning of your choice.

1 Lemon

Drizzle of Pure olive oil

salt or seasoning to taste if needed

Add in the Garlic Butter seasoning in the shrimp and mix well. If you have lime add about half a lime and let sit for 5 - 10 minutes.

Over med/low heat in a large skillet, drizzle a little of pure olive oil. Once heated, add in your butter and allow it to melt.

Once your butter is melted, add in the shallot, garlic and lemon and allow a couple of minutes to cook slowly to add some flavor into the butter. Season with a pinch of salt and stir well.

Increase the heat to medium and allow the pan to come to temp.

Add your shrimp and cook about 1 1/2 to 2 mins per side or until fully cooked.

Shrimp cooks fast, you can have this done fast.

Once done turn off heat and baste the shrimp with the infused butter, this has so much flavor then serve the shrimp along with scoops of the butter sauce over.

This pairs great with a seasoned rice and some sauteed veggies.
