Asian Spicy Garlic Wings


I visited a restaurant in Ocean Beach, CA one time and had some fantastic wings. I wish I had their full recipe, because those wings were delicious. Well you have to improvise sometimes and just wing it when you are home. Either way, these Spicy Garlic wings were fantastic and my wife and I enjoyed them very much. They have a great flavor and a little heat to it.



Marinade

3 tbsp Sriracha sauce 2 Japanese chili's 1 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp sesame seed oil 1/2 lime juice




Batter

½ cup flour

½ cup corn starch

1 tbsp salt

Mix all marinade ingredients and mix well

Place all your chicken wings in a ziplock bag or vacuum bag and add the marinade

Remove as much air out of the bag or vacuum seal it.

Once the air is removed, ensure that your marinade is coated around all your chicken wings evenly.

Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, 48 hours is best.

When you are ready to cook.

Add your batter ingredients into a bowl and mix will.

Give all your chicken wings a good coating of the batter mix and shake off any excess batter. You want an even coating.

Preheat or set your air fryer to 380 degrees for 24 mins.

Place all your chicken wings in the air fryer and begin the cook time.

After 12 minutes of the cook time, spray the top of wings with a little bit of oil. Then flip and spray the other side.

Check to ensure the internal temp of your wings are 175 degrees above.

Finish off and serve with white rice.
