Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Legs

My kids love BBQ Chicken cooked in the air fryer. Even though I love grilling my BBQ chicken, they still ask for it to be done in the air fryer. It’s such an easy recipe and makes a great meal to feed the little ones. Use your favorite BBQ seasoning and BBQ sauce, there are many different flavor options you can use with this recipe. Make sure to clean up the air fryer right away, this makes a bit of a mess. A little time in some hot water and soap will make it much easier to clean up.

Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Legs

6-9 Chicken Leg drumsticks

BBQ Rub seasoning of your choice (You can make your own, I have a video on how to make it here https://youtu.be/OroxhTMdwag )

BBQ sauce of your choice

Season your chicken drumsticks and be sure to get a good coating all sides.

Place them in your air fryer basket and set the cook time for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

After 10 minutes, flip the drumsticks to get some cook time on the other side. I also do this so the skin doesn’t burn. Put back into the air fryer and let the remainder of the time finish up on the other side of the chicken.

When the 20 mins is done, brush with some BBQ sauce on the first side and place in the air fryer. Set the cook time for 10 at 350 degrees. Cook the first side for 5 min then flip the chicken and add more BBQ sauce. Add a good coating on the chicken by brushing a couple of dips of BBQ.

Let the last 5 mins cook and your BBQ Chicken is ready to eat.

Enjoy!
